Kuujjuaq, located near the Kuujjuaq Airport (YVP), is a remote northern Canadian town in the Nunavik region of northern Quebec. It is situated at the mouth of the Koksoak River and is the northernmost non-Inuit community in Quebec. The town has a population of about 2,000 people, mostly Inuit, and is the largest settlement in Nunavik. It is the administrative centre of the Kativik Regional Government and a major hub for northern Quebec. The town is known for its traditional Inuit culture, which is preserved and celebrated through its music, dance, art, and storytelling.
