Nanisivik is a small Inuit hamlet located in the Qikiqtaaluk Region of Nunavut, Canada. It is situated on the northern tip of Baffin Island, near the border of Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. It has a population of around 200 people, mostly Inuit, and is the most northern community in Nunavut. It is only accessible by air through its airport, Nanisivik Airport (YSR), which is located nearby. The community is known for its beautiful Arctic scenery, nearby hiking trails, and wildlife viewing opportunities.
