Roseburg is a city located in the U.S. state of Oregon and is the county seat of Douglas County. The population of the city was 21,181 at the 2010 census, making it the principal city of the Roseburg, Oregon Micropolitan Statistical Area. It is situated along the South Umpqua River in the south-central part of the state, near the California border. Roseburg is known for its nearby natural attractions such as the Umpqua National Forest and the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
