Yangzhou is a city located in the northern part of the Jiangsu Province in eastern China. It is situated on the north bank of the Yangtze River and is one of the oldest cities in the region, having been founded in the 5th century BC. It is an important cultural and educational center, home to several universities and colleges, as well as numerous cultural attractions. The city is also known for its canals, gardens, and historic architecture. Near the Yangzhou Taizhou Airport lies the city’s ancient city wall, which was built in 1356, and the Daming Temple, which dates back to the 7th century. The city is also home to the Grand Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which runs through the city’s downtown area.
